He said the government believes in increasing the role of women in the armed forces and has taken several steps in this direction, including clearing the way for admission of girls in military schools and providing permanent commissions to female officers. The Defense Minister described the announcement of military school expansion as one of the most important decisions taken by the government in the last six-seven years to improve the quality of basic education of children and ensure overall development of the country.

The webinar was organized to advise stakeholders on the need for a good qualification (QR), affiliation by-laws, Memorandum of Association (MoA) and additional curriculum development to ensure smooth implementation of the initiative.
